Perspective

Life is a matter of perspective... how we live, what we think of each other, what we say to and about each other... it all springs from one's perspective, doesn't it?

This collection, called Reality Check, is intended as a reminder to me (and perhaps a new idea for you), that the perspective of life espoused and cultivated by western culture is often somewhat flawed; at the very least, it tends toward the self-centered, unimportant and short-term. Most of these pieces display excerpts from Scripture (the Christian Bible) that counter that perspective to varying degrees. These are intended to help mold my perspective and subconscious thought patterns into what I say I believe, hence the title: Reality Check.
